Main classification of hot rolled coil

Hot rolled coil generally includes medium thickness wide steel strip, hot rolled thin wide steel strip and hot rolled sheet. The medium thick and wide steel strip is the most representative variety, and its output accounts for about two-thirds of the total production of hot rolled coil. Medium thick wide steel strip refers to the steel strip whose thickness is ≥3 mm and less than 20 mm, and whose width is ≥600 mm, which is produced and delivered in roll form by continuous wide steel hot mill or furnace coil mill.

Hot rolled thin and wide steel strip refers to the steel strip with thickness <3 mm and width ≥600 mm, which is produced and delivered in roll form by continuous wide steel hot rolling mill or furnace rolling mill or thin slab continuous rolling mill.

Hot rolled sheet refers to a single sheet of steel with a thickness of <3 mm. Hot rolled sheet is usually produced by continuous wide strip rolling mill, thin slab continuous casting and rolling and other equipment.
